Waterhouse Point Campground is located in the Waterhouse Point Conservation Area. It provides a relaxed place to stay while exploring the area. It is the largest of three camping areas in the vicinity (the others are Village Green and Mathers Campgrounds).

To stay at Waterhouse Point Campground, there is no need to be self-contained as toilets are provided.
Tents are permitted.
Fires are permitted except during periods of fire bans.

Campground Layout and Features
Waterhouse Point Campground has 16 fenced-in sites. Sizes range from small to large to suit most setups. Some of the sites are a bit tight, so select a site that suits your vehicle. The sites are fairly flat behind some dunes and are on black sand. All sites have good sun for solar.
No other facilities are provided at this camp other than toilets. You must remove all rubbish, which must be placed in a wildlife-proof container, as they are active.
Drop toilets are provided at this site.
You must bring enough water for your stay.
This is a free site, and camping sites are on a first-come, first-served basis.
This is a free site with a maximum stay of 28 days.
Waterhouse Point Campsite Location
The campground is a 40km drive north-east of Bridport. The final access road is unsealed, but it was in good condition during our visit. The map below shows the campground’s location. You can zoom out for a more general location.

We did not identify any issues at this campground.
Bringing a large mat would be a good idea as the sites are on black sand.
