Who Are We?
We are Rob and Muay and hail from Perth in Western Australia. Our biggest passion is to road trip and documenting what we learn on the was to help others.
In the past, we have completed road trips in Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. This is in addition to road trips completed in New Zealand and Thailand.
For many years we have planned and dreamt of attaining financial security with the aim of retiring early and hitting the road. That point was achieved by August 2023. After a couple of months of taking stock and preparations, we hit the road.
From Perth we travelled eastwards with no schedule other than a commitment to be in Geelong by the 10th of February 2024. That is the date of our ferry booking to Tasmania. At the time of writing we are on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia camped on Wauraltee Beach for New Year’s.
Other than our international road trips our trips have been completed in small 2WD vehicles and camping in a tent. We went places that we probably shouldn’t have but it was all good fun. However, that was not appropriate to our current plans.
To make life less of a struggle we now travel in a small hybrid caravan. Our tow vehicle is a 4WD ute. To say that travelling life is more comfortable is an understatement.
At present the website is in its infancy. If you have found this page I congratulate you. If you have any suggestions please let us know
