Ryelands Farm Stay and Retreat contains a small campground with good facilities. It is located in a valley in the Belvidere Range. In the area of rolling hills and green pastoral lands.

Activities in the area include relaxing and exploring the nearby towns of Tarlee and Kapunda. Pines Reserve is also nearby. It is not far from the Barossa Valley. Indeed, we stayed here while exploring the Barossa Valley as it provides a more relaxed stay than other options.
The campground is located between the towns of Tarlee and Kapunda. The road between the two towns is sealed. A well-maintained gravel road runs from the intersection of that road and the farm.

Campground Layout and Features
There are eight sites at the campground. The sites are level and on firm ground. The orientation of the sites makes it difficult to have all sites occupied simultaneously unless you are part of a group. Two of the sites are between other sites, and these two sites would be blocked on both sides.
Water and power are available at the site if you need them. One box provides power. You must select one of the four sites surrounding it or have a long extension lead.
Close to the campground is a shearing shed. The shed contains a single shower, a toilet, and a camp kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, and the facilities are clean. There is also a TV and table tennis table in the shed. During cooler nights, the wood-fired heater would be a popular place to be at night.
While we didn’t stay there, a house is also available for booking.

This is a working farm. As such, there is machinery and dams that may cause some safety issues. If you have children, they must be well supervised.
