Mt Elizabeth Station is a working cattle station 30km from the Gibb River Road. While here you can explore the gorges on the property.

There are toilets and showers at this campground, so you don’t need to be self-contained.

Campground Layout and Features
The campground has about 50 campsites. The campsites are located adjacent to the homestead on a large flat and mostly open area
The site has toilets and showers. Potable water is also available, as is rubbish disposal.
At the homestead, there is a bar and restaurant. If needed, they sell takeaway alcohol. A small shop sells basic groceries and pre-packaged meat at reasonable prices.
On arrival, check in at reception before selecting a site suited to your needs. There is plenty of space. During out stay we were maybe 30m from our closest neighbours.
There is no need to book before arrival.
If you want to pamper yourself, they have rooms available.

The campground is a 30km drive north of the Gibb River Road. During our visit, the road was in reasonable condition.

What to Watch Out For at Mt Elizabeth Station
We did not identify any issues at this campground.
Like with all the paid campgrounds in this region, the fee is quite high for what you get. Just think of it as a remote tax.
