Campground Layout and Features

The campground has three large campsites along the creek. In addition, there are many more in cleared areas to the west of the creek. You will never not find a place to camp here. Obviously, the best campsites are those near the creek. We stayed in the first one, and it is large and comfortable. This site can accommodate a couple of caravans.

The sites are on dirt and slopes towards the creek, but finding a flat spot is not difficult. There is a little shade.

There are no facilities at this site. You must remove everything that you bring with you.

Frog Hole Campsite Location

The campground is directly off the Gibb River Road.

What to Watch Out For at Frog Hole Campground

We didn’t encounter any issues at this campsite.

When visiting Adcock Gorge, you need to go back to Gibb River Road and drive west. The track going to the campsite does not go to the gorge.

Final Words

We enjoyed our stay here and recommended it. We were the only ones there.

Make sure that you explore nearby Adcock Gorge. It is a peaceful place and we had it to ourselves.

Closeby Campgrounds

If you are travelling eastward, you must stay at Manning Gorge Campground.

For those heading west and wanting to visit Bell Gorge from a free camp, March Fly Glen may suit the bill.
