Final Words
This is a great place to stay while exploring the Bay of Fires. We recommend it.
While exploring the area, we learned that the ‘Fires’ is not from the colour of the lichen on the rocks. Early explorers named it the Bay of Fires because the local Aboriginal people lit fires in the area to aid in hunting.
