Campground Layout and Features
The campground is located behind the Rockpool cafe. The older part of the area consists of a rectangular area. Recently, the area has been expanded away from the cafe along an access road.
Camping is only permitted in designated sites. The sites are large enough for caravans. However, the sites are fairly small. On arriving at the site, select a vacant site and set up camp before paying at the pay station.
Adjacent to the campground are flush toilets that can be used. Rubbish bins are also provided.
Stokes Bay Campsite Location
The campground is easily accessed via a sealed road from any direction. The map below shows the location of the site. You may zoom out for a more general location.
What to Watch Out For at Stokes Bay Campground
The campground is a little cramped but an excellent place to stop for a night and enjoy the nearby beach. However, we feel the fee is a little high for what is provided. If a family of four wishes to stay, the fee would be $39!
Final Words
This is a good campground with an exciting method of accessing the nearby beach. To access it you must make your way through a tunnel. The beach is beautiful.
