Sharp Park Campground is a large campground split into two areas. It is situated in a rural area, allowing for a relaxing stay. It provides a great place to stay while exploring the area, including Lamington National Park.
You do not need to be self-contained to stay at Sharp Park Campground, as toilets and showers are provided.
Pets are permitted at this campground, and a registration form must be completed.
Fires are permitted in the supplied firepits. The firepits are moveable to allow relocation if needed.
You may book your stay before arriving at the site (contact number below). It is recommended that you do so on weekends as it gets busy.

Campground Layout and Features
Sharp Park Campground has 120 set but unmarked campsites on grassed areas. The larger area has 100 sites, while the smaller area across the river has 20. The area is gently undulating, but finding a flat spot is not difficult. It is shaded in parts. It is possible to receive sufficient solar energy to charge batteries.
The number of powered sites is restricted. There are only 21 of them, and they are a little more cramped than the unpowered sites.
Rubbish bins are provided
Water is not available, so arrive full if possible.
Firewood is available for $18 a bag.
A small café operates on the weekend. Ice, firewood and limited other items are available at the office.
The fee to stay at this campground is $11 per person per night on the unpowered sites and $15 on the powered sites. The fees are payable on arrival at the office. Upon arrival, you will be guided to your assigned site.
Stays are limited to two weeks.

As previously mentioned this campground is busy on the weekends. During the week, it is a lot quieter.
