Campground Layout and Features

This campsite has about 4 unmarked sites in a clearing. It is possible to fit more if you wish to be closer together. We stayed here on the way up and on the way back down. we were the only ones there on both nights.

As mentioned previously this is just a clearing in the bush. The ground is gently undulating gravel. You should have no problems finding a flat spot and getting level. The road next to the campsite is sealed and there is little traffic at night. It is peaceful after dark.

You must bring everything that you require as no facilities are provided.

Take care when entering the site as the track is deeply rutted by water flow.

In wet conditions the area may not be accessable.

We heard dingos howling at night. They were away from the site a way but it would be advisable to lock all food away at night.

Final Words

We enjoyed the peacefullness of this camp. So mcuh se that we stayed here twice. It is likley that you will be the only ones there.
