Ringers Rest RV Park is a large campground located 5.5km south-east of Mareeba. It is a good base from which to explore the area and the town.

Campground Layout and Features
The campground provides unmarked and unpowered sites on 15 acres. The main area is an open paddock with an encircling road. Most of the camping is inside the road, but some sites are outside along the fence. Due to dust control, driving in the centre of the paddock is not permitted. There is also a smaller area that is more shaded to the north of the main area. The area is very flat.
All sites are unpowered, and only non-potable channel water is available.
Campers are not permitted to enter the area outside the fenced camping area.
To stay at this site, your RV must have an internal toilet, shower and washing-up facilities. However, drop toilets and a cold shower are provided.
Bins for deposit containers are provided, and all other rubbish must be removed from the site.
The cost of a site is $10 per night for up to 2 people. Additional people over 14 years old are $5 per night. The fee must be paid in cash (cards are not accepted). You must check in at the office as you enter. No bookings are required. Storage is available at this site at $5 per day.
The park is closed to new arrivals after 5pm every day.
If you are here on a Sunday night the owner cooks a damper on the communal fire.
