Campground Layout and Features
Nowra Showground Campground has about 20 unmarked sites, the number of which depends on how people select their sites. The sites are on a dirt base with surrounding gum trees. They are fairly flat, and you should be able to find a spot without the need to use ramps.
All sites have power and water available. Grey water can be discharged on the ground.
The toilets and showers are centrally located. A code is required to access them. The facilities are clean and well-maintained.
Rubbish bins are provided.
The site has a dump point.
The cost of a site is $35 per night.
You must have a booked site before setting up your camp. The booking confirmation email provides all details and includes the code for the showers.
The access gates to the site are locked at sundown and opened at dawn.

Be aware that the campground is closed during events. If you don’t have a booking, you should call them to check that they are open.

People use the access road to get from one side of the showgrounds to the other. There is not a lot of traffic but some speed through the area. This may be a concern if you have young children.
