Milton Showgrounds Campground is a conveniently located in the town of Milton. The campground is managed by the Shoalhaven city council. The town is a short drive from the site. It is a good base to explore the area and the town.

Campground Layout and Features
Milton Showgrounds Campground has about 14 marked sites. All sites have power and water available. Grey water can be discharged on the ground.
The sites are on lovely grassed areas that are well-maintained. There are three areas with slightly different characters. Area 1 (sites 1 – 5) is the best area as it has the largest sites and the best views. Area 2 (sites 6 – 8) has the third largest sites, has views but the ground is sloped a little towards the road. Area 3 (sites 9 – 11) has the smallest sites, no view and is best for tents and small vans or camper trailers. Area 4 (12 – 14) has the second largest sites, but no view.
Some sites are further from water and power access than others. If you have limited lengths for both select your site carefully using the site map. In our case, we needed about 20m of each.
Two unisex combined toilets and showers are available. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. They are available to the general public. Given the limited number of rooms, accessing them can be difficult at busier times.
Rubbish bins are provided.
The site has a dump point.
We were happy to make good use of the free washing machines and dryers. The laundry is accessed using a code provided in the confirmation email.
The cost of a site is $35 per night.

What to Watch Out For at Milton Showgrounds Campground
Be aware that the campground is closed during events. If you don’t have a booking, you should call them to check that they are open.
The online booking system is a bit clunky.
We only found two small issues with this campground. The distance to the water and power connections for some sites could cause some issues. Also, access to the facilities was a bit of an issue in the early evening.
