Campground Layout and Features

Bunny Beach Farm Stay is a fully approved facility. It is entirely bushfire-compliant.

The campground is licenced to accommodate up to 50 vehicles for up to one week. The area is grassed and sites are not delineated. You can arrive and select where you would like to set up camp. The sites are level and are present on a number of elevations. Obviously the higher areas have a better view.

Pets are welcome but must be restrained at all times.

As stated earlier, no facilities are provided, so you must be contained and self-reliant.

While it is currently possible to book this site via Hipcamps (although he did say he may withdraw it), it is best to book directly with the owner. This is more convenient and will cost you less.

The cost for booking direct is $15 for the site plus $5 per person.

If you book directly with the owner, he will direct you to arrive and select a site that you like. In the evening, he will visit the site to collect the fee and have a chat. Payment can be made in cash or credit card.

How did Bunny Beach Get it’s Name?

We have included this as it is an interesting story.

The owner gave the nickname Bunny to one of his grandchildren. When young, she played in the area. After a flood a white sandy beach was found on the creek near the area. The owner named it Bunny Beach.

What to Watch Out For at Bunny Beach Farm Stay

We found no issues at this campground. For us, it was a relaxing time, and we loved the area. Just be prepared for long chats with the owner when he does the rounds in the evening.
