Campground Layout and Features

Bonadio RV Park has about 40 unmarked campsites on a grassed area. The area is mostly flat and most sites have plenty of sun for solar power.

Sites are powered or unpowered and, water hook ups are possible. Given the price difference we recommend powered sites.

Toilet and shower blocks are provided. They also contain laundry facilities. We found the newer block was very clean and functional. The smaller, older block was clean but a little run down.

Rubbish bins are provided.

The site has a dump point.

This site is also a nature reserve. At night, there is animal feeding, which you can attend. Platypus may also be found in the nearby river.

The cost of a powered site is $26 per night and an unpowered site $22.

On arrival, check in at the office before proceeding.

What to Watch Out For at Bonadio RV Park

As the sites are unmarked, how people set up their camps affects the number of sites available. Try to be considerate.

Final Words

We stayed here partly because we could have power. We had an issue with our caravan batteries, so we went to Cairns to replace them. However, we enjoyed our stay at this campground, and we highly recommend it.

If you are heading down to Cairnes and then travelling further north you may like to consider staying at Mossman Golf Club RV Camp Area. If heading south Henrietta Creek Camping Area is a good place to break the journey.

If you are heading South of this location along the Great Inland Way, you may like to consider staying at the Three Rivers Hotel in Greenvale.
