Campground Layout and Features
Horsehead Creek Riverside Park has about 15 unmarked sites on a wedge-shaped grass area adjacent to the Mersey River. The area is fairly flat. Towards the back of the site, it gets narrow, restricting caravans’ turning. This back area also has a restricted view of the river. The front has a better view, and turning is easier.
The sites are unpowered, and no water connection is available. No potable water is available at this site.
There is a single unisex toilet close to the camping area.
A dump point is centrally located on this site.
Rubbish can be placed in a supplied bin.
The maximum stay at this site is three days.
The grassed are is closed during the winter months (June to September) however camping is permitted in the parking area for the nearby boat ramp.
The fee to stay at this campground is $10 per night. It can be paid at the Devonport Information Centre or using the EasyPark app. Using the EasyPark app adds $1.50 to the total fee.
