Campground Layout and Features
Inglewood RV Stop has about 8 unmarked sites on lush, neatly mowed grass. The grass slopes downwards from the road towards Macintyre Brook, and at the bottom of the slope is a flat area suitable for camping.
The campground is located close to the highway, but it was quiet at night.
There are no toilets on this site; however, public facilities are about 300m away at the Apex Lions Park. A public dump point can also be found in the same area.
There are no supplied facilities other than a rubbish bin at the top of the area near the road. The maximum stay at this site is three days.
Inglewood RV Stop Location
Inglewood RV Stop is located very close to central Inglewood and next to the Cunningham Highway. As such, it can be accessed via good-quality sealed roads. The map below shows the campground’s location. You can zoom out for a more general location.
What to Watch Out For at Inglewood RV Stop
During our visit, many bats were nearby. Some people have reported being disturbed by their noise, but we hardly heard them. They are certainly very loud if you walk around the brook close to where they are. Remember that they may present a health issue if you are bitten by one, so keep your distance.
During magpie breeding season, you may be swooped.
Final Words
We enjoyed our brief stay at this site and recommend it.
Closeby Campgrounds

For those heading to Goondiwindi, the Goondiwindi Showgrounds are a great option.
Nice place to relax and unwind. Close to the highway and may be a little noisey during the day but at night it’s not too bad. Not to far to walk to the park and close walk to town.
